Outback Steakhouse Appetizers

Have you ever just enjoyed an afternoon with a cool drink and several Outback Steakhouse appetizers with a good friend or your partner? It's a nice change of pace and it gets you recharged for the rest of the day. The next time you're out shopping and need a break or you need to catch up with an old friend, head to the Outback.

Sometimes, appetizers are the perfect answer for a quick jolt of energy to get you through the day. The Outback has a number of wonderful appetizers that are sure to get you moving or perhaps even give you a break from your busy day. Whatever the reason, the selection is huge and there is something for everyone.

By the way, the items I'm going to review here may not be the same ones that are on your local menu; Outback Steakhouse changes menu items according to the region (items in the United States will be different than in Norway). Check out their official site or give your local restaurant a quick call.

Without further adieu, let's get started reviewing the Outback Steakhouse appetizers menu. The first thing you'll see when you open up your menu is the "Aussie-Tizers To Share" menu. Of course, the first item on the list is the infamous Bloomin' Onion. Not only does this onion taste good, but the presentation is pretty too. The onion in hand-carved (it really is) and then coated with their secret recipe; then it's cooked until it's golden and served with their spicy (not too much so) bloom sauce.

The other items on the Outback Steakhouse appetizers menu have quirky names but don't let the names keep you from choosing one. Each one is tasty and definitely something you want to share. The items are:

Remember these selections are available in the United States; Canada, Mexico, Japan and every other country that has an Outback Steakhouse restaurant will vary in what they have to offer. Why? Because we all have different tastes and it just makes sense to please those around them.

You may notice that some of the items on the list noted above seem that they would be on the dinner menu. Well, some are but these are smaller portions and you don't get the extra sides. They are perfect the way they are; that's why they are called Outback Steakhouse appetizers.

The Alice Springs Chicken Quesadillas are composed of grilled chicken breast, bacon, sautéed mushrooms, melted cheeses wrapped in flour tortillas and served with Outback's honey mustard sauce. The Aussie Cheese Fries are topped with Monterey Jack cheese that is melted, then chopped bacon is sprinkled over the top and it's served with a unique spicy ranch dressing.

Everything on the menu is always tasty and served just the way you like it. Isn't that how it is supposed to be? If you are in need of a break, try one of the items on the Outback Steakhouse appetizers menu and don't forget the cold drink!
